Cat Skiing - Powder Addiction
Powder Addiction offers guided snowcat skiing and riding for the powder addict. Our terrain consist of high alpine bowls, gladed meadows, rock bands, open chutes and gullies. The high altitude combined with good Northern exposure keeps our snow cold and light. Operating in the Jones Pass area with an operating permit of 2,600 acres, we have the powder, vertical and adventure for an epic powder experience. Holding true to our powder addiction we run trips seven days a week. Better yet, we are located only 45 minutes from Denver. All trips include transportation to and from the Village at Winter Park, powder demo skis, safety gear, lunch, and 2 free beers at the end of the day, compliments of Steamworks Brewery. Ski Areas - Cross Country (Nordic)
With 100 kilometers of trails at Devils Thumb Ranch and Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA of the Rockies, and 35 kilometers of trails at Grand Lake Touring Center skiing is not only made for downhill. You can enjoy classic or skate skiing through the Arapahoe National Forest. Beginner or expert any of these places can accommodate you. Private or group lessons are available on beginner trails, while the experienced skier can enjoy longer trails with steeper climbs. There are also a variety of trails that are snowshoe and cross country friendly throughout the Winter Park Fraser Valley. Winter Park Resort is Colorado's longest continually operated ski resort featuring over 3,000 acres of award-winning terrain including groomers, terrain parks, bumps, steeps and trees. All of this terrain is strewn across 5 separate parts of the mountain all accessible on one pass or ticket; Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Cirque and Vasquez Ridge. Going from being on the top of the world at 12,060 feet of Parsenn Bowl skiing the gladded tree runs, to hitting the #1 bumps in North America at Mary Jane.

You need to take a snowmobile tour on one of our snowmobile tour outfitters. Each company provides 1, 2, 4 or more hour guided or unguided tours. Grand Adventures has two locations; offices based in the Village at Winter Park and in Grand Lake. Ride the Continental Divide snowmobiling trails as you never have before. Tours top out at nearly 12,000 feet with views of the entire Winter Park Ski area and the Fraser Valley . Perfect for the beginner to intermediate rider and families looking to experience Colorado 's backcountry on a snowmobile. Or headed further north to the Colorado’s capital for snowmobiling Grand Lake. Ride from the town of Grand Lake to over 100 miles of trails for the intermediate to advanced riders. Trailblazer Snowmobile Tours is located in the heart of the Fraser Valley with access to over 100 miles of maintained trails in the Arapaho National Forest, our trail system is the largest permitted snowmobile trail system in Colorado. You can ride with Trailblazer and see different and exciting terrain each time you ride. On the Trail Snowmobile Tours is located 3 miles northwest of the town of Grand Lake with single and double snowmobiles available you can enjoy over 130 miles of groomed trails and beautiful scenery. Spirit Lake Lodge is also located in the heart of downtown Grand Lake. With the opportunity to spend the whole day riding snowmobiles and resting your head at night at the Spirit Lake Lodge.
